What is the Kobolds Easy Char?
Kobolds Easy Char is a Google Sheets Add-on. This means you start up Google Sheets, and Add the Easy Char.
Kobolds Easy Char is designed to be used with a rulebook from the RPG "Kobolds Ate My Baby" (KAMB). If you don't have the rulebook, you can't play the game. And you should really want to play the game!
This Add-On will make it easier for you to make and keep track of the Kobolds you play. It's also pretty, and colored, and organized for you to see how things all go together.
How do I use Kobolds Easy Char
Kobolds Easy Char is a Google Sheets Add-On. You can find it in the G Suite Marketplace.
Once you've installed the Add-On, you will see the submenu for Kobolds Easy Char in the Add-Ons Menu.
Once you've clicked on the "Kobold Creation Panel" link, you will see ... the Kobold Creation Panel. (This ain't exactly rocket science, here, folks.)
Click on the "Format" button.
And the plain, drab, boring buttons will suddenly (eh, within ~ 20 seconds) turn into bright, colorful, and exciting buttons!
And actually, patience is the once thing I suggest when you use the AddOn. It's pretty darn good (if I do say so myself - and I do!), BUT it can take a little while for the buttons to do their things.
(Personally, I blame the gerbils we trained to do the work. They're well trained, they just have a tendency to get dist... OO shiny!)
Anyway, the Add On should do what it says. Click the buttons. Make Kobolds. Get your Kobolds killed. Make more Kobolds.
Why should I play KAMB?
You should play KAMB (Kobolds Ate My Baby) if you want to have a good time, and don't want to have to be bothered by concepts like "Character" or "Development", or even "Sanity".
You know how in most RPG's, you play the Heroes going out and saving the world from horrible monsters? Yeah, well with KAMB, you're not either of those. You're the horrible little monsters, who are weak, pathetic, awful, stupid, HUNGRY, and stupid. But always hungry.
Want to play a game where you're the heroes? ... Wrong game.
Want to play a game where you're powerful wizards? ... Wrong game.
Want to play a game that doesn't insult you and your character? ... Wrong Game.
Want to play a game where you're not going to get your character killed? ...
Really Wrong Game.
And that's the point of this Add-On. You're going to kill so many Kobolds that you'll need help making all the Character Sheets.
Can I play KAMB without the Rulebook?
NO!
You know who tries to play games without owning the official books? Horrible little gremlins, who are even worse people than Kobolds. And, Bad Vor Alnaughty! if you're even worse than a Kobold, you are ... just awful!
